Gran Canaria - Caves of Guayadeque
Currently the only way to get to Guayadeque caves and valley without a car (as there's no public transport service) is to try the FREE "blanket trip" by Pal promootions. They collect you from your hotel or closeby around 10 in the morning, then take you half way to Guayadeque for a 45 minute presentation of their products (blankets & bedding). From there they take you to the town of Arinaga to a shoe warehouse where you have a half hour free time to look around the area, the chuirch or preferably go into the factory and do some shoe-shopping.
After that, you get to go to Guayadeque valley and to the village itself. You have another 45 minutes of free time to look around the cobbled streets, visit the cave church, have refreshments in trhe cave restaurantr and they have an agreement with a resident who will let you look around her house (a cave of course).
Cost = Free because of the presentation.
